Windows and roof windows

ZMD Innenausbau GmbH offers window replacement in residential buildings. According to the company, the focus is on energy efficiency and a contemporary appearance.

Roof windows

In addition to ordinary windows, the company also handles roof windows and the associated thermal insulation. This is relevant above all when a previously unused loft is converted into living space.

Permits

The installation of roof windows is governed by the building regulations of the federal states. If a loft is converted into living space, a permit is often required. Clarify this early with the company and the local building authority.

Roof window or dormer?

Roof windows or a dormer can bring more light into an attic. Roof windows are usually easier to install, while a dormer also adds space. More on dormers under roof renovation, loft conversions and dormers.
